Welcome to the Animal Medical Center Staff page.

We currently have three doctors on staff here at the AMC. We also employee three full time veterinary assistants, three receptionists, and our office manager.

Please meet the staff of the Animal Medical Center

Kellie Holmstrom, DVM

Dr. Holmstrom received her Docorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1985. In her free time she enjoys alpine skiing, kayaking, and being a soccer mom. Dr. Holmstrom is also active in our community and is currently a school board member for Marquette Schools.

Dale Aho, DVM

Dr. Aho received his Docorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1973. Dr. Aho is our large animal veterinarian and often spends most of the Spring on farm calls. His hobbies include fly fishing, traveling to Alaska and Montana, and reading Tom Clancy novels.

Dawn Sheffield, DVM

Dr. Sheffield recieved her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University in 1995. Dr. Sheffield was the president of the Michigan Center Rotary Club in 2001 and enjoys canoeing, camping and traveling. Everyone at the Animal Medical Center is glad to having a new and smiling face around. Hopefully we will have an email for everyone soon!
